COMELLAS BONSFILLS, JOSEP MARIA
Biography
Josep Maria is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University and a researcher at the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM). His thesis focuses on Eurosceptic voting and its relationship with globalization. He has been granted a FPU scholarship from the Spanish government. He conducted a research stay at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) from April 1 2019 to June 30 2019.
He holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Konstanz, Germany (2015-2016), and a Master of Research in Political Science from Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona (2014-2015). He also holds a Postgraduate diploma in Economics and philosophical-political analysis of contemporary capitalism from the University of Barcelona (2013-2014). He received his B.A. in Political Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2012).
During his studies in Konstanz, Josep Maria worked as a research assistant of Prof. Dr. Peter Selb, in the frame of the Erasmus+ Traineeship. He also collaborated in different occasions as a research assistant in the Research Group of Elites and Political Parties of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The research interests of Josep Maria are: political behavior, public opinion, political economy, survey methodology.
