How to Use NVivo for Qualitative Data Analysis
Course Description:
NVivo is a powerful software most commonly used for qualitative research and it is also the most accessible for students and researchers. This three-day workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the NVivo programme and a chance to practice what you have learned by developing your own projects. The aim is to understand the structure of NVivo and how to use it efficiently in a research project from the beginning. The workshop will cover how to set up a project; manage the data; organize and explore the data; analyse and present the data. The course is suitable for those with no previous knowledge of the programme. During the workshop, you will create and develop your project using your own data. Therefore, you are encouraged to bring your research files: academic articles, documents, reports, primary data such as interview transcripts. Alternatively, you can work on a sample data set.
