Scholarships

ENROLMENT AS A PROSPECTIVE SCHOLARSHIP HOLDER

The procedure for enrolling as a prospective scholarship holder, on which basis you will not have to pay the full enrolment fee while awaiting an official decision on your scholarship, is as described below.

You must submit a prospective scholarship holder application form and your scholarship application or scholarship holder certificate to the secretary's office corresponding to your studies.

This form is a commitment, on your behalf, that if the grant for which you are eligible does not cover the full amount of registration fees or if your grant application is unsuccessful, when the University requests payment of the corresponding registration fee, you will proceed with payment within the established deadlines.

You must check in the corresponding announcement the items covered by the grant you have applied for or already enjoy.

You should check to see exactly what is covered by the grant you have applied for or been awarded when the corresponding call for applications is issued. If you intend to apply for a general grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (MECD) and wish to enrol as a conditional grant holder, you will need to submit the application form mentioned above, plus your grant certificate from the previous year (bachelor's degree programme) or economic accreditation from the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), to your programme's secretariat before the day on which you enrol.

Accreditation from AGAUR should be requested as soon as the call for applications is issued, as decisions are made in a maximum of 10 days. Such accreditation does not constitute a grant in its own right. It merely shows that you will meet the economic requisites if you apply for a general grant from the MECD.

Once you have enrolled as a conditional grant holder, you must actually apply for a general grant from the MECD to continue to enjoy the corresponding discount.

IMPORTANT: in the case of interuniversity master's degree programmes, you must apply for a grant for the university at which you will be enrolling (the coordinating university).
