Science in Action is a MELIS-UPF course held at the PRBB. The aim of the course is to familiarise post-graduate students in biomedicine with current ideas and debate around the theme of good research practices. The contents of the course are based on the PRBB Code of Good Scientific Practice and include general research integrity concepts and issues regarding data management, conflict of interest, animal research, human research and publications.

Science in Action is a blended course that includes online content plus group discussions, role plays and other interactive activities.

 

  • laboratoriThe first part of the course will be online at the Aula Global space you can find inside your Campus Global (Please check that you are able to enter the Campus Global properly with your U-number and personal password);
  • The second part will be based on group attendance. The course professor will inform you through your Aula Global.

  • After enrolling at the PhD program you'll have the opportunity to choose your Science in Action course preferred edition (fall or spring)
