Anaïs was born in 1996 in Barcelona, Spain. She made her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). During her degree she developed a special interest in signal processing and data analysis and this led her to carry out the Master in Computational Biomedical Engineering at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and carrying out her master thesis in the NTSA group. The thesis is focused on the analysis of brain areas to find epileptic focus using micro-electroencephalografic recordings. After the master, she started the PhD in the NTSA group studying phase measures applied to EEG recordings from epilepsy patients.
