OCHUGBOJU, ANGELA SAMSON
Angela was born in Kaduna, Nigeria (1981). She obtained her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Jos, Nigeria (2001-2004). After her undergraduate studies, she joined one of the commercial banks in Nigeria where she became Head of Operation in one of the branches (2008-2012). Thereafter, she resigned and got a graduate teaching job at Federal University Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. She is presently a Lecturer with same university. Her first master is on Statistics and Data Analysis from the University of Essex, United Kingdom (2015). She also obtained another master in Mathematics at the University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria (2018) upon her return to her country. Her research interest includes epidemiology, data analysis, mathematical models and experimental designs. She works on the modelling and analysis of networks of coupled oscillators and applies the findings to electroencephalographic recordings from epilepsis patients. She is hosted by our NTSA group and is a Dorcas Muthoni PhD fellow of the department.
