GONZALEZ MARTINEZ, CRISTINA
Cristina was born in Oviedo (1988). She got her Biology Diplom by the University of Oviedo (2012) studying one year at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany). Then she carried out a two year MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering at Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2014). After that she moved to Germany where the University of Applied Sciences in Jena awarded her with the title M.Sc. in Medical Engineering (2015). Afterwards she started working as a research fellow in the research group of Biosignal Analysis in the Department of Medical Engineering and Biotechnology in the University of Applied Sciences of Jena. Her master thesis and previous work were related to the non-linear time series analysis in order to allow characterisation of dynamical systems. Cristina joint the NTSA-group as a PhD student associated with the María de Maeztu Units of Excellence Research Program of the Spanish government, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralph Andrzejak. Now, her research interests are focused in the application of nonlinear signal analysis to electrophysiological recordings from epilepsy patients.
