Juan de la Cierva and Ramon y Cajal programs aim to support universities to hire doctors with different level of seniority to promote the research. Now the call for proposals are open:

Juan de la Cierva - Formación (JCI-F) 2020

2 years contract for young doctors to complete their postdoctoral research in a different university or research center from where they completed their predoctoral training. Candidates must meet the requirement to have obtained the PhD between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2020.

Juan de la Cierva - Incorporación (JCI-I) 2020

3 years contract for young doctors to consolidate the skills acquired during a first stage of postdoctoral training. Candidates must meet the requirement to have obtained the PhD between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2018. In the case candidates want to join the same center in which they completed their pre-doctoral training, candidates must have had postdoctoral stays of at least 12 months in other centers before the deadline of the call.

Ramon y Cajal (RYC) 2020

5 years contract for doctors to foster the research. Candidates must meet the requirement to have obtained the PhD between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2017. In the case candidates want to join the same center in which they completed their pre-doctoral training, candidates must have had postdoctoral stays of at least 24 months in other centers or have obatined the PhD in a university outside Spain.
