This position will involve working at MTG-UPF in Barcelona to support the research being carried out by the different labs, especially with respect to the development and maintenance of datasets, software tools and web servers.

Required skills/qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in the design, development and testing of software
• Experience with web development using Python (Django or Flask)
• Proficiency in devops, including Docker
• Experience in Linux, including server configuration and maintenance
• Ability to work and deliver autonomously while being a part of a team
• Fluent in English

Preferred skills/experience:

• Experience with Javascript development with React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning environments like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
• Experience with managing large collections of data

ABOUT MTG-UPF: The Music Technology Group (MTG) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, part of its Department of Information and Communication Technologies, carries out research on topics such as audio signal processing, music information retrieval, musical interfaces, and computational musicology.
