In its 10 years of existence, the OFF Maria Canals Contest has become a strategic program of the Maria Canals Barcelona Association that includes all the initiatives that go beyond the prestigious contest that takes place every year in the month of March. This program develops a very important social task and promotes amateur practice in formal and non formal education. The association wants to convey that the exercise and enjoyment of music are essential for the personal development of everyone.

In the framework of OFF Maria Canals, the Maria Canals Association and the UPF present the pIAno expression program. This program will offer some presentations and demonstrations related to TELMI project, developed by the MML Lab. TELMI is a technological platform for the improvement of learning musical instruments designed both to guide and motivate a beginner instrument student and to provide high level feedback to an expert.

The programmed activities will take place in the Foyer of Palau de la Música and in the Tallers Area of the Poblenou Campus.
