Emilia Gómez has been awarded with a medal granted by Ayuntamiento de Sevilla to recognise her working in education and research.

Emilia Gómez leads the Music Information Research Lab at the MTG, and she is currently directing the projects HUMAINT, at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, and TROMPA at the MTG.
