The board will be formed by internationally recognized experts from the scientific, economic and educational fields
The Government has presented the Artificial Intelligence Advisory board, a consultative body that will provide independent advice and recommendations on the steps to be taken to ensure the safe and ethical use of AI. The body is made up of prestigious Spanish experts, who will contribute to the completion and implementation of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence. They will analyze the implications that these disruptive technologies will have in different areas, such as industry, administration, protection of fundamental rights, social gaps…
Emilia Gomez will be part of the advisory board, as an expert in human behavior and artificial intelligence in digital transformation. Emilia is lead scientist of the HUMAINT project at the Centre for Advanced Studies, Joint Research Centre, European Commission, and head of the MIR (Music Information Research) lab of the Music Technology Group.
Other two members of the board are also researchers at DTIC – UPF: Ricardo Baeza-Yates and Luz Rello
