+RAIN

The UPF organizes the second edition of +RAIN Film Festival, a transdisciplinary meeting space that brings together the most prominent profiles in research, experimentation, and AI-assisted film creation.

Specifically, the MTG is participating in the LIVE section of the festival, a musical and audiovisual event with a performative nature of proposals using artificial intelligence. The LIVE section includes two audiovisual installations and three live performances.

Sonia Espí collaborates with the event organization, and Blazej Kotowski will present the performance Disturbance, De: Configuration.

We are the music makers… AI & Music

In this open forum, a panel of musicians, researchers, artists and academics will explain how they’re making use of AI in their work, with participation and interaction encouraged from the audience. Sergi Jordà, along with two SMC master alumni, Anna Xabó and Rob Clouth, participates as a panelist in this forum.

Project Area

The exhibition area of Sonar+D hosts a booth for Essentia, where Dmitry Bogdanov, Pablo Alonso and Jorge Marcos will present demos for the core music analysis software and AI models, the JavaScript Essentia.js wrapper library, and related research activities at MTG.
