The MTG collaborates with ARTIFICIA, a platform to promote the link between AI and artistic creativity

The platform aims to be a tool to disseminate projects and events around augmented creativity, approaching the knowledge to the society.

ARTIFICIA (http://www.artificia.pro/) is a new open and collaborative space to carry out activities that articulate the debate around the impact of technology and Artificial Intelligence in particular, on culture and society from a critical perspective.

The first event organized by the platform consists in three online sessions between March and May 2021, open and free, focused on musical creativity and the use of AI, with presentations of projects and live performances, as well as discussions with international and local experts. Those sessions will be focused on three thematic areas: improvisation, music composition , and tools for music performance and education:

Session 1 Musical Improvisation with AI. Wednesday, March 10. 18h - 19:30h CET.

Session 2 · Musical Composition with AI. Thursday, April 8. 18h - 19:30h CET.

Session 3 · Musical Performance & Education with AI. Thursday, May 6. 18h - 19:30h CET . This session will count with the participation of MTG members and alumni: Sergio Giraldo, presenter and moderator of the debate. Rafael Ramírez, featuring ‘TELMI’. Anna Xambó, featuring 'MIRLCa'. Luisa Pereira, speaker. Enric Guaus, speaker. Alia Ahmed Morsi, speaker.
