We are launching a music annotation contest that will contribute to our project TROMPA

Music can express and convey many emotions, which relate to certain musical features. We want you to learn different musical attributes that relate music to an expressed emotion. From 29th june to 5th july 2020, use our application and annotate music from all around the world. By the end of the week, we will give prizes to the participants that contribute the most.

Contest rules:

  • You must login in this platform using a Google account (all notifications will be sent to this account). Once you've registered, you can Annotate music!. To better understand how to do the annotations, follow the instructions in How should I do my annotations?.

  • You must complete at least one of the available campaigns (different from the Tutorial campaign).

  • The prizes will be given to the participants with the highest score during the contest period - 29th june to 5th july 2020 (both included) - as follows:

    1. First place: 60 euros Spotify gift card.

    2. Second place: 30 euros Spotify gift card.

  • In case of a tie, the winner of the prize will be determined as follows:

    2. Highest amount of completed campaigns during the contest period.

    3. Highest amount of annotations during the same access to the platform.

    4. If the tie persists, the prize will be awarded by lottery.
