Web Audio Conference moves to 2021
In the face of current events we are all familiar with, SonoSuite and the MTG have decided to postpone the 6th edition of the Web Audio Conference (WAC) to springtime 2021. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy with all of you on a much brighter scenario (and better weather!).
WAC is an international conference dedicated to web audio technologies and applications. The conference addresses academic research, artistic research, development, design, evaluation and standards concerned with emerging audio-related web technologies such as Web Audio API, Web RTC, WebSockets and Javascript.
Call for submissions is still open!
Considering the postponement of the event, the organization has also decided to extend the submission deadline from July to fall 2020.
We will soon confirm the exact dates for the event and the important milestones as the new submission deadline.
The #WAC2021 welcomes web developers, music technologists, computer musicians, application designers, industry engineers, R&D scientists, academic researchers, artists, students and people interested in the fields of web development, music technology, computer music, audio applications and web standards.
