The Deep Learning Barcelona Symposium (DLBCN) aims at showcasing the research developed by scientists in Barcelona, or who pursued part of their academic career in Barcelona. This unique meeting gathers multidisciplinary researchers in the field of deep learning, and shows the potential of the capital to become the AI hub in Southern Europe. The first edition of this symposium will be held on Thursday 20th & Friday 21st December 2018, but other satellite events are organized across the city during the whole week.

The UPF Poblenou Campus hosts the session of Thursday 20th and some MTG members participate in different sessions: Emilia Gómez and Xavier Serra are chairs of the session on Audio, and Merlijn Blaauw and Jordi Pons participate as speakers.
