On Wednesday 15 October 2019, Journalist and activist Noopur Tiwari hosted the seminar “Gendered Dissent in Digital Streets: Community Building, allyship and the online feminist space” organized to the students of gender studies in the MA in International Studies in Media, Power and Difference. Tiwari’s seminar addressed the role of online feminism, the 4^th wave of feminism, since the #MeeToo movement in 2017 raised media attention to digital feminism. Tiwari stressed that online feminism can be a place of courage and a way of creating more and quicker inclusiveness in the digital sphere.
