Sustainable Open Science Integrated Learning Design Environment - ILDE
We develop a large number of software tools and hosting infrastructures to support the research developed at the Department. We will be detailing in this section the different tools available. You can take a look for the moment at the offer available within the UPF Knowledge Portal, the innovations created in the context of EU projects in the Innovation Radar and the software sections of some of our research groups:

Sustainable Open Science Integrated Learning Design Environment - ILDE
The ILDE infrastructure enables the modelling and sharing of learning designs with the aim of fostering communities of educators collaborating through learning designs to improve the quality of education.
Developed iteratively over the past 8 years and tested by over 8 educational communities (educational centers, training units, transversal initiatives), involving over 1000 participants, this technological infrastructure enables the modelling and sharing of learning designs with the aim of fostering communities of educators collaborating through learning designs to improve the quality of education. ILDE integrates several learning design tools to support the conceptualization, authoring and implementation of learning activities. Within the current MdM EDS project the GTI-Learning team is enhancing the ILDE infrastructure with the:
• integration of data gathering techniques, analytics tools and educational data science services to explore how this data can be used to increase the understanding (and improve then the quality) of learning experiences;
• establishment of a series of workshops for teachers centered on modelling learning activities;
• development of a management plan to establish collaboration with teachers/schools as partners for educational data science research;
• analysis and compilation of quality datasets from workshops completed with teachers and schools;
• coordination of visits by recognized visiting researchers/speakers in the field of educational data science.
