Workshop on the impact of artificial intelligence in healthcare with EC’s JRC on July 5th at DTIC-UPF

Auditori del Campus del Poblenou, Universitat Pompeu Fabra

Human behavior and Machine Intelligence (HUMAINT) project, Centre for Advanced Studies, Joint Research Centre, European Commission and BCN MedTech, DTIC-UPF

This workshop aims at advancing the scientific understanding of machine learning (ML) related to healthcare and at studying the impact of ML algorithms on humans, focusing on clinical decision-making. The workshop intends to be a forum to discuss the main problems to tackle when creating algorithms to analyze clinical data and also implementation challenges, such as which interaction paradigms we should use, or the competences medical doctors should have.

The workshop is mainly aimed at artificial intelligence researchers, biomedical scientists and physicians interested in the applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare, and its technical and ethical implications.

We have an amazing program with presentations by top researchers in different institutions worldwide and a panel discussion on new research challenges related to the adoption of AI technologies in medical practice.
