Scientific publications in 2018-19

NOTE: This entry has been updated to include publications published until July 2020, given the fact that the MdM program run until 30/06/2020. The global tables have not been updated as the partial view of 2020 may lead to confusion.

We present the results of the bibliometric analysis of the complete scientific production of our department in the period 2016-19, supported by any funding source, following the indicators proposed by the María de Maeztu accreditation (above 75% of the publications generated by the researchers of the unit correspond to journals in the first quartile (Q1) of their scientific field). This is a follow-up of the analysis of the scientific publications in 2016-17 available here. The full list of publications for each year can be found here:

- Scientific publications DTIC-UPF 2018 (Scopus)

- Scientific publications DTIC-UPF 2019 (Scopus)

- Scientific publications DTIC-UPF 2020 (until July, Scopus)

The specific subset of publications listed in Scopus that acknowledge specific financial support from the María de Maeztu program is available here.

Publications in journals

1 - Publications retrieved in Scopus with at least an author affiliated to DTIC-UPF in 2018 and 2019. Total amount of publications of the department and per research area, and distribution per quartile (source: SCIMAGO).

Note: when the journal had no information available, it has been excluded from the calculations of the distribution per quartile.

2 - Evolution since 2016

The average number of journal articles by members of the department is, since 2014 (see here) oscillating around 135 journal articles / year, with a consolidation of the increase in the amount of Q1 and D1 with respect to that period. Although it may require a more detailed analysis, the oscillations between years may be attributable to transitions in changes of staff (faculty members changing institution, both joining or leaving DTIC).

Conferences

The table below shows the articles in conferences. The number of articles presented in conferences is highly variable, both in total, and within some of the areas.
