- Ralph Andrzejak, head of the Nonlinear Time Series Analysis Group, becomes Professor (Catedràtic Contractat)

- Anders Jonsson, head of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Group, and Ernest Montbrió, head of the Neuronal Dynamics Research Group, become Associate Professors (Professors Agregats)

- Ana Freire, Ricardo Marqués and Albert Bel obtained a Lecturer position (Professors Lectors)
