Successful Validation of All Three Brainstorm Developments for Virtual Television Production
On January 16, 2025, Brainstorm Multimedia conducted a validation session for different systems developed within the framework of the Max-R project. The session, held at its facilities in Valencia, brought together a group of broadcast industry specialists with extensive experience in the sector, and good knowledge of virtual production and workflows. Participants evaluated the performance of these innovative systems designed to optimize television content production in virtual environments.
The tests focused on the three technological scenarios developed within Max-R:
-
Scenario 1.6: Integration of InfinitySet with a color grading plugin from Filmlight, assessing improvements in color correction and adjustment in virtual productions.
- Scenario 1.7: Implementation of the VPET system from Filmakademie, which allows for the management of virtual productions from a tablet, facilitating collaborative workflows.
- Scenario 2.2: An innovative synchronized tracking system, designed to enhance the virtual teleportation of presenters and ensure smooth interaction between different locations.
The validation session included practical demonstrations, evaluation questionnaires, and a focus group, where the validators shared their insights on each system.
The results confirm the potential of these technologies to revolutionize television production, enhancing visual integration, usability, and efficiency in virtual environments.
The final results report will soon be available in the Resources section of the project website.
