I’m a PhD student on the Cognitive Science and Language PhD program (Analytic Philosophy branch) at the University of Barcelona. Before, I completed a BA in Philosophy (2014) in the University of the Basque Country and a MA in Cognitive Science and Humanities (2016) at the Institute for Logic, Cognition, Language, and Information in the same university. In my MA thesis (‘Natural Kinds and Sex’) I worked under the supervision of Maria de Ponte (University of the Basque Country). My research areas are Philosophy of Classification, Natural Kinds and Sex Categories.

I am currently working on Philosophy of Classification. More precisely, on the relation between scientific classifications and values, both epistemic and non-epistemic. I am particularly interested in the classification of human biological sex.
I am working under the supervision of  Dan Lopez de Sa (University of Barcelona) and Maria de Ponte.
