Senior researcher and lecturer in philosophy of law, she graduated in Law cum laude from the University of Bologna and obtained a PhD in "Constitutional Justice and Fundamental Rights" from The University of Pisa.

Before joining the University of Bologna, she was a "Ramon y Cajal" Researcher at the Law Department of the Pompeu Fabra University and a "Max Weber Fellow" at the European University Institute, under international research fellowships.
