Juan Ramón Jiménez-García is a PhD candidate at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). He holds a BA in Political and Administration Sciences (Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla) and an MA in Public Management (Universidad de Granada).He is member of the Demosoc Research Group. He works on a research project financed by RecerCaixa called "prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination"(Principal Investigator: María José González) in which he is working on the desing and the implementation of the experimental research. Currently he is working on his PhD about “Gender discrimination in the labour market” using Labour Force Survey data for Spain and for Europe and The University Graduates Survey for Spain. He teachs "mathematical and computer tools", "quantitative research techniques" and "political actors and organizations of interest" in the political Science degree, and "quantitative methodology (I)" at the criminology and public polices degree.

He is member of the Gender Studies Center UPF and of the Red Anti-rumores de Andalucía.
