Registration is now open for the Hopkins Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management 2022, delivered by the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona (Barcelona Public Health Agency, ASPB), with the collaboration of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. After two years of holding the Fall Institute online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center is delighted to announce that the 2022 edition will be held in-person at the UPF in Barcelona, Spain, this October-November.

The Hopkins Fall Institute constitutes a month of intensive courses in health policy and management, which enable health professionals to embark upon or strengthen their education in various areas of public health and health policy. Students are invited to gain a solid knowledge of policy and management approaches in public health, along with new explorations and innovations in the field.

Courses are delivered by faculty of the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and invited institutions, in collaboration with public health experts from the ASPB. Workshops are delivered by ASPB experts, with faculty from the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health participating as external consultants. 

With a key focus on effective policy implementation and management, the graduate-level courses offered at the Fall Institute are equivalent to regular Bloomberg School offerings given during the traditional academic year. They can serve as supplementary education and professional improvement, or can count toward Hopkins credit.

Scholarships are available for members of the ASPB, students of the UPF Master in Public Health and Master in Public and Social Policy programmes, and to the general public. Please note: The deadline for ASPB and UPF scholarship applications is September 12th, 2022.
