GTI and Everis join forces to deliver Noa & Max – stuck in Electronia, a twelve minutes animated mini-series for teenagers that will approach science and technology in a funny, dynamic and appealing way.

GTI and Everis join forces to deliver Noa & Max – stuck in Electronia, a twelve minutes animated mini-series for teenagers that will approach science and technology in a funny, dynamic and appealing way.The project is funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and has a 12 months duration.

Everis studied how different factors (ie. parents influence, self-esteem, social impact, etc.) could drive teenagers’ choice toward science and technology studies.The animated series is designed to show how everyone can make and understand technology,taking into account Everis study.

GTI is leading the production of the series by coordinating the creative process and developing the technology behind it. The first of the four pilot episodes will be presented in March and a brief preview of the series will be given at the 13th Animac Festival.

All the contents created during the project will be delivered as open-source for future use, including that by schools, artists, students, teachers, companies.

Synopsis Noa & Max:

Electronia is the game of the year, but it suddenly crashed, letting everyone without their favourite pastime. Max, a videogame and skateboard lover and his sister Noa, musician in love for the brother of her best friend, get teleported into Electronia, while having one of their many brothers’ fights. They will soon discover that LordTek, evil emperor of Electronia, changed all the rules of Digital Lands so that nobody could defeat him. The only way to return to the real world will be to re-establish the system and beat LordTek.

Noa and Max  will have to apply knowledge about science and technology, that always considered boring and useless, to fix the bugs and help the characters of the game to get back to their normal lives. In the meanwhile the whole world will be enjoying the adventures of Noa and Max through their screens, making them the heroes that fixed Electronia.
