After careful evaluation, we are very pleased to announce that Eréndira León Salvador's Master's Thesis supervised by Prof. Lorenzo Gabrielli and entitled "The Holy Trinity of SAR NGOs images in the Mediterranean: Colonialism, Racialization, and Gender biases" has been selected as the most outstanding Master’s Thesis in Migration Studies during the academic year 2021-2022! The thesis will be published as Working Paper in the EuroMedMig Working Paper series. 

The winner of the 2nd most outstanding Master's Thesis is Aida Casanovas i Oliveres, supervised by Prof. Ricard Zapata-Barrero, whose thesis is entitled "The External Relations of Mediterranean Cities with Civil Society Organisations in Migration Governance".

As for the 3rd most outstanding Master's Thesis, it was awarded to Iris Egea Quijada, supervised by Prof. Martin Lundsteen, under the title "A case study on the revitalisation of shrinking Spain: Migrant reception in rural areas".
