Final conference of the AGREP project on 24 March: Strategies against everyday antigypsyism
The research-action project AGREP (The Action Program for Effective Reporting of Antigypsyism and Discrimination), funded by the European Union’s REC program, coordinated by GRITIM-UPF (with Zenia Hellgren as PI) and with FAGiC (The Federation of Roma Associations in Catalonia), and Barcelona City Council’s Office for Non-discrimination (OND) as partners, is concluded through its final conference on 24 March from 17:00-19:30 (CET).
The event (in Spanish) is entitled Cómo vencer a un enemigo invisible: estrategias de lucha contra el antigitanismo cotidiano y sus consecuencias. It will consist of a joint reflection among the project team members, Roma activists and institutional actors on the findings of this 2-year project, regarding the potential and challenges involved in promoting formal reporting as a tool against discrimination.
The conference is open to the public through Zoom. See the program (including the Zoom link) here.
