We welcome our new Associate Researcher Vittoria Emanuela Bria at GRITIM-UPF!

Vittoria Emanuela Bria earned her Double Degree in Immigration Studies at the University of Pompeu Fabra and the University of Liège. She previously obtained a BA degree in Political Science, International Relations, and Human Rights from the University of Padova. During her studies, Vittoria Emanuela has mainly focused her interest on European Immigration policies as well as the role of second-generation immigrants. Her master dissertation explores the impact of the Code of Conduct for NGOs released by the Italian government in 2017 on the SAR operations in the Central Mediterranean Route. Currently, she focuses on Mediterranean Migration.
