The next talk in the War on Immigrants Series will look at violence against women in the context of migration from Mexico. Guadalupe Lizárraga will present her work, "Desaparecidas de la Morgue: Investigación Periodística Sobre Feminicidios en Ciudad Juárez", in Spanish. She is Director of Los Angeles Press and author of a recent book on femicide in Ciudad Juarez. The talk is organized by GRITIM-UPF and DemoSoc, co-sponsored by UPF Igualtat, and coordinated by John Palmer.
This talk is free and open to Public, and is part of an ongoing series on the escalation of anti-immigrant policies around the world.
