Francesco Pasetti successfully defended his PhD thesis: Keeping Policy and Politics Apart: Integration Policies in Europe and the Politics of Citizenship in Spain and Italy. More info.

Yacine Belahcene will be playing at the gala dinner that will take place during the 15thIMISCOE Annual Conference in July in Barcelona. More info.

Call for manuscripts: The IMISCOE Network is launching a Competitive Call for new manuscripts (whether authored or edited). The Call is Open Topic. The selected best book proposal will be offered a contract and a total Open Access fee waiver. All other proposals submitted under the call can be considered for publication under the standard conditions of the series. Deadline for submissions: Monday 15 October 2018. More info.

Summer school: The Summer School on Migration Data for Policy is a new initiative of the International Organization for Migration's Global Migration Data Analysis Centre and the University of Bristol, building on the close collaboration already developed through the Worldwide Universities Network-IOM Strategic Alliance.
