The Intercultural Cities Programme of the Council of Europe renews its support for the Master in Migration Studies

25.05.2018

The Intercultural Cities Programme of the Council of Europe renews its support for the Master in Migration Studies at UPF. The support includes collaboration in the Intercultural Policy Training Activity that combines theoretical and conceptual approaches with practical experiences coming from ICC. The activity will be led by two experts: Gemma Pinyol (Associate Researcher, GRITIM-UPF and Intercultural Cities - ICC-Council of Europe) and Daniel de Torres (Director at Antirumors Global and Intercultural Cities - ICC-Council of Europe).

Conceptual and practical debates, concrete analyses, evaluation of political strategies, and identification best practices will be included in the sessions, and special attention will be paid to how local authorities deal with diversity from an intercultural perspective to strengthen social cohesion and promote development.

The programme will be upload soon at this link.

The Intercultural Cities programme is an initiative that manages more than 100 cities around Europe (and worldwide) with the general aims to promote the intercultural approach at the local level.
