Sevda Tunaboylu (PhD candidate at GRITIM-UPF) has received the Pre-doctoral scholarship, FI-AGAUR, granted by Generalitat de Catalunya. More info.

Prof. Ricard Zapata spoke in an event on law, immigration and business organized by Collegi de Notaris in Barcelona on March 21st. He discussed how to refocus European identity with the intercultural strategy. More info.

Calls:

Call for Applications: The Sixth edition of the International Summer School in Ethnography will take place at University of Trento next September 10th-14th, 2018. This edition is convened by Paolo Boccagni and Ester Gallo (Dpt. of Sociology, University of Trento) and will be primarily focused on the ethnography of mobility, domesticity, emotions and material cultures in diverse urban environments. Applications should be sent by April 30. More info.
