Call for GRITIM-UPF Working Paper Series

GRITIM-UPF Working Paper Series is welcoming submissions! The purpose is to disseminate the first results of ongoing research/projects contributing to migration and diversity without the usual delays associated with more traditional modes of publication. The WP will be integrated into the University's public research publishing network Recercat and it is published quarterly. Suggested themes include current new patterns and debates framing the migration research agenda, topics related to gender studies, activism, civil society organizations, Mediterranean, discrimination, urban governance, multi-level politics, and methodological insights.

The GRITIM-UPF Working Papers series is already well placed in migration studies publication series. It is more than 14 years old and has published more than 50 Working Papers so far! It is usually hyper-linked to the mainstream institutions that are working and researching migration in Europe and elsewhere.

The submission process is very fast!  It can take not more than one month!  Once received a submission, the paper is subject to a double-blind peer review process. Authors receive comments and suggested edits from at least one expert in their chosen field. As a work-in-progress, publication does not preclude or prejudice subsequent publication. It is a means of open access dissemination (free of charge!), with the common protection of copyright and creative works. It also allows authors to measure daily downloads and visits by country.
