He graduated in Psychology at the Jaume I University of Castellon in 2014. In 2015, he studied a Master in Neuroscience at the University of Barcelona. Currently, he is developing his PhD with the Neurobiology of Behavior Research Group (GReNeC) at the University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona.

His research is focused on the neuropsychopharmacological basis of addiction behavior as a key tool to understand brain function and pathology. Nowadays, he is studying the endocannabinoid system involvement in drug-induced neuroadaptations and the therapeutic potential of phytocannabinoids other than THC for drug addiction.
