Short Biosketch
Fabrizio Méndez River holds a Bachelor and a Masters in Sociology from the University of the Republic (Uruguay). He has worked in public policy in Uruguay and as an independent consultant in Uruguayan and internationals institutions (OPS, BID). His research interests are in the field of health inequalities, social determinants of health, especially employment and psychosocial working
conditions. He is currently holding a grant for doctoral training from the National Agency for Research and Innovation of Uruguay and is developing his research on precarious employment, mental health, and stress.
