Doctoral student at the UAB in the Media, Communication and Culture program since 2021, José Óscar Plaza has a degree in Humanities and Journalism from UPF, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Digital Journalism from the University of the Basque Country.
He is currently working on the relationship between sport and the Franco regime, and the expression of it in the media. Furthermore, he is an associate professor in Journalism studies at UPF, in charge of the subjects Llenguatge i Gèneres Informatius, Llenguatge i Gèneres Interpretatius, Periodisme Local and Pràcticum. He also collaborates with the UOC's Communication Studies.
