International Symposium John Rawls (14-15 October 2021)


The International Symposium John Rawls is held on 14th and 15th October in Girona. 
The symposium will include keynote addresses and roundtables as well as thematic panels with papers addressing, building on, or critically engaging with Rawls' thought.

To celebrate Rawls' centenary and the 50th anniversary of the publication of A Theory of Justice, an International Symposium on Rawls will take place in Girona on October 14 and 15, 2021. The symposium will include keynote addresses and roundtables as well as thematic panels with papers addressing, building on, or critically engaging with Rawls' thought.

The speakers will include: 

Philippe van Parijs (Catholic University of Louvain), Roberto Gargarella (Universidad Torcuato di Tella), Véronique Munoz-Dardé (University College of London and University of California, Berkeley), Andrew Williams (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Hugo Seleme (University of Córdoba, Argentina), Josep Joan Moreso (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), Faviola Rivera (Universidad Autónoma Nacional de México), Teresa M. Bejan (University of Oxford) and Michael Cholbi (University of Edinburgh).
