Valentina Huais is PhD candidate in Law at National University of Córdoba, Argentina. She is doing her research as part of the Argentinian National Scientific and Technical Research Council. Currently, she is working on the problem related to the way in which childrearing costs should be distributed. The ultimate end of her research is to determinate if some public policies that are being implemented in Argentina are justified from the perspective of parental justice. From October to December 2019 she was part of the Family Justice project as a visiting scholar. During her stay at UPF she worked on a paper about an argument in favour of socializing some childrearing costs based on Dworkin’s conception of equality.
