Warwick Economics Summit: Open Registration for the UPF Delegation
The prestigious Warwick Economics Summit (WES) has announced its next edition, which will take place from 24-26 January 2025, cementing its position as the world's leading student-organised event. This international forum brings together leading economists, business leaders and world-renowned academics to discuss the global economic and political challenges facing society today.
Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona will participate with a delegation for the third consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and international collaboration. Composed solely of students, the UPF delegation will have the opportunity to listen to and interact with experts of enormous prestige in various disciplines, thus enriching their training and broadening their professional networks. In its last edition, UPF was represented by a total of seventeen members and the University's ambassadors at the WES were invited to participate in a round table discussion with the Director General of the WHO - Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus - to discuss the importance of youth mental health during and after the AIDS-19 pandemic.
The Warwick Economics Summit is world-renowned for its interdisciplinary approach and its ability to attract high-level speakers, including Nobel laureates, finance ministers and leaders of international organisations. The WES is a unique platform for the exchange of ideas and innovation in the field of economics or international relations, offering the opportunity to meet world leaders first-hand.
Registrations to be part of the UPF delegation to this event are now open to all UPF students until 22th November link.
