50th Anniversary of the "Convención Americana sobre Derechos Humanos" (14-15.11.2019)
In February of 2015, the Pompeu Fabra University and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights summoned, in Barcelona, the Constitutional or Supreme Courts of several Inter-American Human Rights System's member states. In that event, eighteen Latin American Courts were represented as part of the Judicial Dialogues in the Inter-American System for Human Rights Protection, in which three hundred academics, from Europe and America, also participated.
On November 22nd, the 50th anniversary of the signing of the American Convention on Human Rights in San José (Costa Rica) will take place. For this reason, with support from the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, such occasion will be also celebrated in Barcelona on November 14th and 15th.
