The JMC EUGov organises its 6th Annual Lecture aimed at the in-depth discussion of EU topics. This year, under the general subject "Innovation and Transition to Greener Energies in the EU" we propose a lecture on Decarbonisation in Europe.
As an established tradition of the Chair, we are also offering an Annual Lecture for the academic year 2020-2021. Generally speaking, Annual Lectures are dedicated to inviting policy experts or highly experienced Professors to share their perspectives over an important subject of EU affairs.
This year, our special guest is Prof. Benjamin K. Sovacool, Director of the Danish Center for Energy Technology and Professor of Social Sciences at Aarhus University.
He will provide a lecture entitled:
"A critical justice perspective on Decarbonisation and its discontents based on four low-carbon transitions"
Due to the extraordinary circumstances currently affecting academic life, we proceeded to develop an online edition of the annual lecture to be developed on the Zoom Platform.
