Welcome Session

The UPF DTIC PhD program offers advanced training in a broad range of topics in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, with a very active PhD programme and a range of funding opportunities.

We currently have one hundred and sixty research students from all over the world.

To make the arrival to ETIC and UPF life as smooth as possible, we offer a Welcome Day. PhD students will have then the opportunity to learn more about a number of academic and organizational aspects, finding answers to questions and having the possibility to meet their colleagues. They will also have the chance to find out about the support services the University provides.

Welcome Session 2016

The welcome session of the PhD program in ICT took place on Thursday 13th, 3:30pm. Students were introduced to our Department, the PhD program and some basic information about teaching assistance. It took place in room 55.309 and was coordinated by Emilia Gomez, Miquel Oliver, Miguel Angel González Ballester, Vanesa Daza, Davinia Hernández-Leo and Aurelio Ruiz.

Welcome Session 2014

Welcome Session for new PhD TIC students will take place on  Monday 14th, October 2013, at 11 hours at room 55309 in Tanger's Building. 

This  year  people from all around the world arrived to our Department as a PhD students:  Turkey , India, Russia , Polonia,  Germany , Italy , Morocco, Ukraine, Colombia, Algeria, Sudan , Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico and Spain.
