On Thursday, June 8, the UPF had the pleasure of having the collaboration of Prof. Laura Bernardi.
She presented the following seminar:
 
"Research on lone parenthood: changing trends and open issues"
 
Laura Bernardi is Professor of Life Course Demography and Sociology at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and Deputy Director of the Swiss National Center for Competence in Research LIVES. Her major research areas are fertility, family demography, anthropological demography, and migration. She has published in major sociological and demographic journals on topics like fertility intentions and behaviour, social network influences on family development, intergenerational transmission of fertility and family formation, lone parenthood and health, and more recently on mixed couples and children of migrants.
