Active aging accounts for 30% of health inequalities at ages 65-plus

These findings relate to a study carried out by Prof. Bruno Arpino and Prof. Aïda Solé-Auró. The research, which is part of the European project CREW (Care, Retirement & Wellbeing of Older People Across Different Welfare Regimes), was published last year as a scientific article in the Journal of Aging and Health. It analyzes the inequalities in health among older people with different educational levels using three different measures: subjective perception of the general state of health, depression, and finally, physical limitations
