The DemoSoc Research Group of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at UPF hosted the annual meeting of the European Consortium of Sociological Research (ecsr2024.com) in September 12-14. This three-day conference featured 64 regular sessions and two keynote speeches, with over 375 researchers in attendance. 

The event took place at the Ciutadella Campus of Pompeu Fabra University, showcasing leading sociological research from across Europe. Key topics included socio-economic and educational inequalities, shifts in family structure, and gender and ethnic discrimination.
