CritiCC Researchers at IAMRC Conference in Madrid
CritiCC Research Group and THINKClima organized a panel titled "Climate change denial and interest groups in Europe: Political Economy and Ideological denial" at the 2019 IAMCR Conference, held in Madrid, Spain, from 7th to 11th July 2019.
In the panel, four CritiCC researchers were presenting their work:
Núria Almiron presented the paper "Climate change denial and interest groups in Europe: Political Economy and Ideological denial", authored also by Justin Farrell, Maxwell Boykoff, José A. Moreno and Katie McConnell; Maria R. Carreras presented the paper “Climate policy and Strategic Communication: The Dairy Lobby in Europe”; Laura Fernández presented “Strategic visual communication and climate change. Confronting the agribusiness denial discourse by animal and climate advocacy”; and Xuksa Kramcsak presented her research “The role of environmental NGOs in Spain in the fight against climate change: discourse and ideology”.
