COURAGE meets Curriculum: Human-Centered UX Design for educational mini games

06.07.2020

In the summer term 2020, more than 60 students of the User Experience Design course at HRW designed educational mini-games that can be used to annotate data from Social Media. In the course, led by Sarah Zielinski, 13 projects were completed. Students not only analysed the target group, but also empathically put themselves in the situation of being discriminated against on Social Media.
The students, most of them from the Human-Machine-Interaction study program, considered how the educational mini-games could be used in workshops adding value to the sensitization and digital readiness of school students.
Among others, students provided a detailed description of their projects and a poster, documenting the most important steps and results. A clickable prototype will be developed in Axure, which is perfectly suited for user testing.
